¡Hola! Recién me enteré a través de algunos blogs que sigo de este festival de quilts para bloggers y me gustaría compartir este quilt que para mi es muy especial.
Lo llamé "El Taller de las Hadas" por supuesto. Está todo aplicado y acolchado a mano, y las letras están bordadas en punto de cruz. Lo hice aproximadamente hace 6 años, y en ese tiempo era muy difícil conseguir los materiales aquí en México, así que el diseñarlo no me tomó tanto tiempo como el conseguir las telas, sobre todo la del árbol, así que un día caminando por el departamento de blancos de el supermercado, me topé con unas fundas para cojines y ni tarda ni perezosa les di matarile y así quedó el árbol con la textura que necesitaba.
Mi parte favorita de quilt es "Canutillo" el dragón que fué volando a traer el hilo y las tijeras que hacían falta para terminar el bordado ¿Que les parece?

Everything is hand pieced and quilted, and the letters are embroidered in cross stitch.
