Esa época del año/ This time of the year

Ya está muy cerca el día de muertos, sé que es una festividad que a simple vista es un poco desconcertante, pero es una hermosa manera de recordar a las personitas que ya no están con nosotros, de comer lo que les gustaba, de reirnos de los chistes que solian contar, en fin, de volverlos a tomar en cuenta por un día al menos. También es un día para dar gracias porque todavía estamos vivos, para reflexionar en que no lo estaremos por siempre y corregir nuestro rumbo si se ha desviado un poco.
Este año se me ha pasado muuy rápido, porque ¿Que esperan los vivos después de muertos...? Pues Navidad!! Jajaja, mal chiste.
Así que para quienes acostumbran celebrar este día es buen momento para planearlo todo con calma. Y a propósito de esta festividad mi amiga Kali me mandó este lindo mimo ¡Muchas gracias! Me encanto!!

It is this time of the year again "día de muertos" is very near , I realize that is a little disconcerting holiday, but is a nice way to remember the people who are no longer with us, to eat what they liked, to laugh of the jokes they used to tell, to have them in mind for a day at least. It is also a day to give thanks that we're still alive, to think that we will not be forever and correct our course if it has drifted a little.
So for those who celebrate this day is a good time to start planning it. And speaking of the holiday my friend Kali sent me this beautiful sugar skull. I loved it!
