¡Hola! Ya estoy de regreso en casa, después de haber pasado unos días muy intensos enseñando técnicas de bordado a mujeres indígenas totonacas en Zihuateutla Puebla. La verdad es que fue una experiencia fantástica. El primer día fue un poco difícil, cuesta un poco adaptarse al a falta de algunas comodidades, pero fuera de eso todo fue genial.
Hello! I'm back home after having spent a very intense days teaching embroidery techniques to totonac women in Zihuateutla Puebla. The truth is that it was a fantastic experience. Ella es Azeneth, prima de Jonás, que se inspiró mucho con el trabajo de su mamá y sacó sus crayolas para colorear las mismas flores. Me prestó su libro de 1er. año, escrito de principio a fin en Totonaco y eligió esta lección que habla de las estrellas para que le tomara una foto.
She is Azeneth, Jonas's cousin, She got inspired with her mom's job and took out her crayons to color the flowers as well. She lent me her 1st. grade school book, written from beginning to end in Totonac and chose this lesson that talks about the stars for a picture.
