Partes de un quilt

¡Hola! Hace un par de meses cambíamos la página web, y ha habido algunas personas que nos pidieron que volviéramos a poner los tuturiales y diseños gratuitos que teníamos en nuestra antigua página. Así que los iremos subiendo poco a poco acá en el blog para tenerlos todos juntos.
Empezando con lo más básico este diagrama que explica los elementos que forman un quilt.

Aunque posiblemente para algunas de ustedes esto ya es muy obvio, siempre hay gente que se está integrando a este mundo por primera vez y que le puede resultar útil esta información.

These days we'll be posting some tutorials that we had in our previous web site, this tutorials will be in spanish only, but they have lots of pictures that we hope will speak for themselves. This is because there are a lot of information available about patchwork an quilting in english, but sadly that's not the case in spanish. Zacatecas 2011 (2a. Parte/Part 2)

Venimos recién llegando de la 3a. Exposición de Zacatecas, cansadas pero contentas y llenas de motivación.
Al ser nuestra primera asistencia a este evento, no sabíamos qué esperar, pero quedamos encantadas al descubrir una bellísima comunidad de quilters de varios rincones de la República Mexicana.
Aún somos un gremio pequeño, pero con mucho entusiasmo y camaradería.
Aquí les compartimos algunas imágenes del evento y esperamos poder seguir estrechando lazos entre expositoras, maestras y comunidad.

We just returned from the 3rd. Patchwork Exhibition of Zacatecas, tired but happy and full of motivation.
This was the first time we attended at this event, we did not know what to expect but we were delighted to discover a beautiful community of quilters from various cities of Mexico.
We are still a small guild, but with lots of enthusiasm and camaraderie.
Here I share some pictures of the event and look forward to further strengthening ties between exhibitors, teachers and community.
