Nuevo tutorial/ New tutorial

Hola que tal.

Les quiero compartir el primer tutorial que yo hago, es la primera vez que estoy del otro lado de la cámara... bueno, al menos una parte de mi jajajaja. Aunque también en este tutorial estrenamos intro y ahi sí estoy filmando, o al menos la versión virtual de mi jejejeje. Espero que les guste y que se animen a hacer este copo de nieve, se ven muy lindos colgando del árbol o hasta en el techo. Saludos

I want to share with you my first tutorial, it is the first time I'm in the other side of the camera... well, at least a part of me lol. In this tutorial we used our new intro for the first time too and I'm filming in it, or at least the virtual me lol. I hope you like it and that you try to make this quilling snowflake, they look nice in the tree or even hanging from the ceiling. Greetings

Día de muertos 2011/ The day of the dead

Hola. Seguro todas ustedes saben que somos mexicanas, algunas también lo son, algunas no, pero Día de Muertos es una de las fiestas más importantes en México, así que probablemente habrán oído de ella.

Este año realmente lo festejamos. Arriba pueden ver el primer altar de muertos que hicimos. Es una miniatura que hicimos para decorar la tienda.

Abajo está el que fue nuestro altar de muertos real. La verdad es que disfrutamos mucho el hacerlo mientras pensábamos en esas tres amadas personas que se nos han adelantado y extrañamos.

Hi. Most of you might know that we are mexican, some of you might be mexican too, some are not, but the day of the dead is one of the most important mexican traditions, so you might have heard about it.

This year we really celebrated it. Above you can see the first altar we made. It's a miniature that we made as a decoration for the store.

Below is the real altar we made. We really enjoyed making it and thinking about those three beloved ones that we missed.

Este altar es bastante más grande que el nuestro. Año con año lo pone nustra querida tía Loly, ahi se pueden apreciar fotos de tios abuelos, abuelos y bisabuelos. Ramas que dieron forma al árbol de la familia y a quienes también extrañamos.

This altar is bigger than ours. Year after year our dear aunt Loly makes it, there you can see pictures of grandparents and great grandparents. Branches that made the shape of the family tree and who we missed too.

 El último es un altar especial. Este lo hicieron dos de nuestros sobrinos y es especial porque está dedicado a los niños. Es muy triste que en la familia se hayan perdido esas pequeñas vidas, pero creemos que esta tradición es más que cualquier otra cosa una muestra de cariño y nadie lo inspira más que los niños.

This last one is a special one, This one was made by two of our nephews and it is special because it is dedicated to children. It is sad when a family looses young lifes, but we believe that this tradition is most of all a sign of affection and no one inspires more affection than children.
